Guildmore Cladding division has secured a significant contract to renew the rainscreen external cladding for the Royal Veterinary College at their Camden Campus, Royal College Street, London NW1.   The Campus has undergone significant refurbishment over the last few years and this project forms part of the improvements to this significant educational establishment.

We’re due to start work on site immediately, carry out the new external works during the next 8 weeks and complete by mid-October 2019.

Keith Laing, Head of Facades & Cladding said “We’re pleased to undertake this project that involves the removal and replacement of rainscreen external cladding and associated works. We look forward to working closely with both the Royal Veterinary College and Pellings, the Employers’ Agent”

Phase 1 will comprise the recladding of one side elevation and half the front elevation.

Phase 2 will comprise the recladding of the other side elevation and the remaining half of the front elevation.

The challenge for our cladding team is that the site is located on an occupied campus, which will remain in use throughout the project. “We’ll implement our policy of high levels of considerate construction, so everyday life at the college will continue smoothly” commented CEO Engin Ertosun.
