Primary Schools in Catford

Catford is an area which has recently appeared on the map for young families. With affordable housing, a strong, local community and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants, Catford is an ideal location for a family to set up camp!

One of the biggest concerns when moving to a new area is facing the dreaded task of primary school applications. Catford has an extensive list of schools that cater to a wide range of abilities, levels, religious stances and personal preferences. With a task like this, it’s hard to know where to begin! So, I’ve done a bit of the leg work for you and created a short list of some of the primary schools in this area to start you off!

Rathfern Primary School

Rathfern is an innovative primary school portraying strong values in developing the pupils’ moral compass. The school realises the importance of living in a digital society and use the latest macbook technology in their computer classes. The school’s attitudes and activities always lead back to core values of respect, care and responsibility.

 

Brindishe Green School

They pride themselves in being a quiet and calm school, strengthening pupils confidence by implementing a strong ethos of total inclusivity. The school is a rich tapestry of social structures and religions, and teach children to respect their diverse backgrounds to encourage a sense of belonging in every student.

Kilmorie Primary School

St John Baptist Southend Church of England Primary School

St William of York Catholic Primary School

A school devoted to the Catholic faith, their mission statement is ‘to educate children in an atmosphere of Christian love.’ By retaining a strong connection between the children’s’ families, their parish and the school, they aim to strengthen their faith in a welcoming Christian environment.

Holy Cross Catholic Primary School

 This ever popular, Catholic school is oversubscribed year on year. This is a school that strives for more than just high test results. Their values are deeply rooted in developing students talents and skills, allowing pupils to leave feeling confident in their abilities and talents.
