The new Surrey Square construction project will be undertaken by Guildmore Limited, on of the Excel Portfolios group company.
This prime site extends to approximately 0.12 acres in the London Borough of Southwark, and has planning permission for the erection of a part 4, part 5-storey building comprising 9 private residential units.
The area is witnessing significant regeneration with the London & Quadrant led Albany Place scheme. Planning permission was obtained on the 2 September 2013 and Guildmore is currently in the process of discharging the pre-commencement planning conditions, with work on site scheduled to start in May 2015. Practical completion of the development is scheduled for 2016.
Rushby is seeking external funding support for the project, for both the site acquired and the construction cost of the 9 private sales.
