The Primary Schools of Mitcham

The South London suburb of Mitcham is increasingly becoming a popular area for young families to settle. WIth green spaces in abundance, quick routes to central London and reasonably priced housing, it’s a high contender for commuters who want a bit more for their money.One of the biggest draws for this area are the schools. Mitcham has a fantastic selection for every age, from nurseries to colleges. Choosing a primary school for your children can be somewhat of a headache and many find it difficult to know where to begin. So, we’ve put together a little guide and a map to walk you through your options.

Cranmer Primary School

Cranmer is a state school with an excellent reputation for standards and behaviour in the community. With clear values of respect, trust and resilience, they teach ‘philosophy for children’ from Nursery to Year 6 to allow students to develop and explore further.

 

Gorringe Park Primary School

Gorringe Park school provides an inspiring curriculum and works with experts such as Artists and Musicians in residence, teaches Spanish as an additional language and has a professional sports coach.

Liberty Primary School

At Liberty Primary School, students enjoy a creative and rich curriculum that focuses on practical hands on experiences. The 529 pupils have a significant contribution to the school and to the local community of Mitcham.

Bond Primary School

Bond Primary school currently holds 452 pupils and continues to develop a positive reputation and quality of care. The school provides an attractive and stimulating environment, with extensive grounds for teaching, learning and play.

William Morris Primary School

Lonesome Primary School
